Eating out

Eating out
West Sussex has many good restaurants and we recommend the following, each of which we know very well from personal experience:
The Town House, Arundel
The Town House is one of our favourite restaurants. Situated in Georgian Arundel in an 18th century grade II listed building, it has an even older ceiling which was originally made in Florence over 100 years earlier. What sets it apart is the quality of the food - it boasts 2 AA rosettes and 4 Gold Stars, and is recommended in the Michelin Guide. Early booking is advised, especially for weekends, as it is enduringly popular. The Town House is open Tuesday to Saturday, with lunch from 12pm and dinner from 7pm.

Farmer, Butcher, Chef at The Goodwood Hotel

Farmer, Butcher, Chef is one of two restaurants in the Goodwood hotel, and an ideal location if you are using the facilities of the Goodwood Health Club and Spa. Goodwood has been farmed for over 300 years and the restaurant is the final stage of a unique process dedicated  to showcasing the estate's produce in terms of flavour, quality and provenance. The restaurant is open daily.
